Matthew <3s Comics

I remember my first comic book.

It was Wolverine #28, published August 1990. Ever since, I have been fascinated by the way visual storytelling comes together in a comic.

Like any book, it begins with its cover.

Massive titles in iconic type. Figures drawn in dynamic action. Attention-grabbing captions. You want to read what is inside!

I drew my first comic cover a year later.

Since I was six years old, I have been drawing illustrations. These pieces are my homage to the horror comics of the ‘70s, lovingly mashed-up with a recent, immersive RPG built from another iconic love of mine: D&D.
